Hi Alissa,
Sorry for my delayed response! I missed a couple of comments last month apparently.
A medium can talk to dead people and all mediums are psychic.
Not all psychics are mediums (able to talk to the other side).

I do find that in certain situations people feel more comfortable with the word “intuitive” than the word “psychic” when referring to their ability to intuitively pick things up, and then once they become comfortable with the “intuitive” label, if they pursue their gifts further, they may eventually feel comfortable enough to call themselves psychic.
