EDIT: I wrote about this being a “Full Moon”. Talk about weird energy. It is a NEW MOON with a partial solar eclipse, not a full moon. Must be the lack of sleep over the past week but it explains how upside down some of the energy is.
I wasn’t entirely sure if this would be the post today, but I think I really need to share this with you. Yesterday I wrote about the roller coaster ride we’ve had the past week with being up and then down, and energized and tired and not sleeping etc.
Sometimes when the energy is this intense it causes us to think “what is wrong with me?”
I really wanted to work with clients this weekend, but every fibre of my being is telling me that I need to rest and stay in my own energy. I woke up this morning (after an amazing sleep) thinking “I should have booked some clients” but I still wasn’t totally feeling like I had the energy. In the past I would have wondered what was wrong with me, but I have learned to work with the energies instead of fighting them.
Before I started learning more about energy, the type of energy we have had this past week would sometimes throw me right into a depression. This depression would sometimes last a few days and other times would last a few weeks. Now that I know more about how to work with the energies instead of fighting with them things are much better. I know this will pass quickly, there is no sense in allowing my thoughts to create a lasting depression for me. Please allow the same for yourself.
This is what you need to know about and do with these energies:
- The energies are INTENSE
- You very well may have a lot of plans but you are feeling really stuck because you don’t have the energy to do anything about them right now.
- STOP wondering what is wrong with you. That will just make the energy worse and has the potential to drag it out for much longer than it needs to last.
- This is the perfect energy to clean up things that need to be cleaned up. Tidy your desk, vacuum, dust, smudge your house, get rid of old clothes. Every little bit helps. If you don’t have the energy to physically clean up, then do some meditations and clean up your energy.
The most important thing you can do for yourself is to respect how you feel. What causes sadness and depression is thinking things should be different than they are.
It is what it is. Respect that. Allow yourself to do what you feel like doing. Some of you won’t be feeling the ‘down’ part of these energies today, some of you will really feel the need to be with friends and maybe even party a bit. That is fine, do that then.
We all need to be okay with being on a different page than our spouse or roommates or friends this weekend. Because everyone is going through their own stuff and it is manifesting slightly differently for everyone, we might find that we are polar opposites with some of those around us. Don’t worry, the relationships aren’t failing, its just a different way of processing for each of you. As much as you need to allow for yourself, you also need to allow others to do what they feel they need to do.
The energy is like the ebb and flow of the tides and just as you cannot push a tide out when it is in, you cannot force yourself to do something that you don’t want to do and still feel okay.
Try and relax through these energies and do what you are drawn to do. Release all that needs to be released and go with your own flow. We are in times of great transformation on our planet, lots of new energies. This month is especially powerful with the Super-moons and the eclipses.
Respect what your Soul is telling you and you will feel some relief after tomorrow.
