Just a little energy alert for you all.
So… over the past week, many of us have been out of our NOW moments. I know for me, I’ve had anxiety off and on for days. I used to get anxious, but I almost never do anymore unless it belongs to someone else. However, I have felt it so much this past week I thought it was worth mentioning. Whether anxiety is a regular thing for you or not, it’s just been “more” lately for everyone. If you have been feeling it, it’s important to remember that generally anxiety is from being in your future too much, instead of your moment.
That brings me to another thing I’ve been feeling/seeing. There is a TON of past stuff coming up for all of us. None of us are getting away from this one. However, how we deal with it can either help or hinder us to a great degree. If you focus too much on the past, you will get depressed. You are here now and that is where you need to put your focus.
This ‘past stuff’ can manifest in many ways. My son just came home to stay with me for a bit after moving out two years ago – that is an extreme “in-your-awareness” example. A less obvious example is that over the last little while I have been saying to my dead husband “I miss you”, multiple times every day. This comes from the energies of me focusing too much on the past. For the record, I often miss him, it’s the feelings and my statements (affirmations) to him that are different. If I were to go too deep into feelings of missing him, I would likely become depressed about the state of WHAT IS without him.
So, just a short and sweet message for today. If you are noticing past things coming up, you are not alone. It can be important to pay attention to where your repetitive thoughts and feelings are going so that you can get back into your moment, ride it out, and create new things for yourself.
You can use the practice of Gratitude to help you through this. I am grateful that my son has a soft spot to land for a few weeks until he can regroup. I am grateful for the time I had with my Soulmate. I am grateful I have a home I love. I am grateful for my ability to help you all… See how this works? Give it a try, you will feel better.
