We all have an energy field or aura that surrounds us that both attracts and repels things towards and away from us, and our thoughts impact this field. The more positive our thoughts are the more positive things we attract, and the more negative people and things we repel.

Our bodies go and our actions do what our thoughts tell us. This is why practicing awareness is so important to making change. Pay attention to your automatic, habitual thoughts. This will allow you to change your thoughts’ point of focus and by extension change what surrounds you. Gratitude works wonders to shift and reframe your negative, limited thoughts towards the positive and better feeling. As does having a meditation practice supports you with being more present, more mindful, and more aware of thoughts.

As much as you can, keep your thoughts and energy in your present moments. Think more about what you want, what you can do today, not about what you couldn’t do yesterday and all the reasons why you couldn’t. Being present and aware go hand-in-hand with shifting your thoughts, making positive changes, vibrating higher, and creating a better life for yourself.
